This was my name suggestion and jersey design for the Minnesota women's pro hockey team (PWHL). I love the double meaning with Monarch. Both a "sovereign head of state, especially a king, queen, or emperor" and one of the most magical animals of all time, the Monarch Butterfly.

I altered the original purple to a more electric blue version. This strengthens brand equity and differentiates the team from the Vikings and Prince.
