We developed the brand identity for Minneapolis's premiers music and sound production company, Grey Ghost.

Named after Roosevelt “Grey Ghost” Williams, who earned his nickname for mysteriously appearing to play unforgettable late-night blues sets in Texas towns before vanishing without a trace.

 

We decided an owl was a perfect match for "Grey Ghost". The script wordmark feels like the nature of music and also mirrors the clefs and notes from sheet music.
